Bangalore’s leading cultural centre, Sri Rajarajeshwari kala Niketan celebrates its golden jubilee, fifty years of its fruitful existence with a grand extravaganza of performances known as Samanvaya Arts Festival on 19 th September at the iconic Chowdiah Memorial auditorium in Malleswaram, Bangalore. The morning session will start at 930am and the evening session will start at 5pm. To commemorate this special occasion dedicated to dance rhythm and story telling, the morning session begins with Adavu Jam, a celebration of movement and rhythm pertaining to the foundational vocabulary of Indian classical dances, followed by a captivating dance presentation. The evening unfolds Double Bill of two full length dance dramas that would take the audience on a journey between the earth and the heavens, Satyabhama and Apsara. Adavu jam sessions would feature students of Guru Veena Murthy Vijay in Kuchipudi styles, Indian contemporary dance by by Aayana Dance Company, students of Parswanath upadhye, Students of Anuradha Vikranth and Yakshagana by Krishnamurthy Thunga, the highlight afternoon session will be the dance drama Ravali Mylarvapu by the students of Guru Anitha Guha. Satyabhama – one heroine depicted in four dance forms, Bharata Natyam by Lakshmi Gopalaswamy, kathak by Vidha Lal and Mohiniattam by Gopika varma, Kuchipudi by Veena Murhty Vijay and the Sutradhar is Mysore B. Nagaraj. Apsara introduction Pushpanjali by MPA students of MLA college, followed by Shama Krishna in kuchipudi, Ranjitha S in Bharata natyam,Rohini Prabhat in Kathak and
Suvin Prasad as Narada and G Pavan kumar as Indira. Apsaras in different styles are Pallavi Manjunath, Pratheesha Kashi, Shubha Chethan,Mudra Dhananjay, Vandana Supriya and Kavya kashinath. Curated by the soul of Sr Rajarajeshwari Kala

Sangeeta Nritya Academy and Carnatic vocalist Dr Pustakam Ramaa. Samanvay Puraskar will be given to Guru Revathi Ramachandram, Guru Anitha Guha and Dr Hamsini Nagendra.
