Mumbai: Smt. Sarala Balakrishnan Nair, wife of Shri Balakrishnan Nair, Secretary of the Gorai Malayali Welfare Association (GMWA), passed away this afternoon following a prolonged illness. She was ailing for some time.
The last rites will be performed on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 8 p.m. at the Gorai Cremation Centre.
She is survived by her family and relatives.
The Gorai Malayali Welfare Association expressed its deep condolences to the bereaved family and joined them in mourning the loss. The association prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace and for the family to find strength to bear the irreparable loss.
