Vapi: Sindhumol M. from the Vapi region has won the first prize in the Sugatanjali poetry recitation competition organised by the Gujarat Chapter of the Malayalam Mission for teachers.
Sreeja Mohan, also from the Vapi region, secured the second position, while Soumya Vijayan from Surat won the third position.
The three winners will represent Gujarat in the global-level Sugatanjali Poetry Recitation Competition organised by the Malayalam Mission. The competition is part of the Sugatanjali poetry recitation initiative conducted by the Malayalam Mission for teachers across the world.
The online competitions were conducted under the supervision of Shaji Antony, Secretary of the Malayalam Mission Gujarat Chapter. C. V. Narayanan served as Convener, while Sreeja Bopin was the Coordinator.
The achievement of the winners highlights the growing interest in Malayalam poetry and the efforts of the Malayalam Mission to promote the language and its literary heritage among Malayalis across the globe.
