Demonstrating its continued commitment to social welfare and educational support, the Tapasya Kalavedi Charitable Trust, Vasai, distributed study kits to 60 economically disadvantaged students of Manikpur Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya.

The programme was organized at the school premises in the presence of teachers, students, and representatives of various social and cultural organizations. The initiative aimed to assist underprivileged students by providing them with essential educational materials required for their academic pursuits.
In addition to the study kits, the Trust also donated a large steel water storage tank to improve the school’s drinking water facilities and a gas stove for the preparation of mid-day meals for students. These contributions are expected to significantly enhance the overall welfare and learning environment of the children.

School Headmaster Mangesh Varthak lauded the efforts of the Trust and expressed gratitude for the timely support extended to the students and the school. Addressing the gathering, Aravindakshan, Secretary of Tapasya Kalavedi Charitable Trust, reiterated the organization’s dedication to educational assistance and community service initiatives.
The keynote address was delivered by Kumar Vaidyanathan, General Secretary of the Sabarimala Ayyappa Seva Samiti, Konkan Prant. He commended the Trust for its meaningful contribution towards promoting education and supporting deserving students from economically weaker sections of society.
Trust office-bearers Sasidharan, Padmanabhan, Hariharan, Kuttikrishnan, and Seetha Hari Warrier were also present and actively participated in the programme.
The initiative was warmly received by the school community, and the beneficiary students expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the support. The programme once again highlighted the Trust’s commitment to empowering young minds and contributing to the welfare of society through meaningful service activities.
