Umargaon: In a significant step towards promoting Malayalam language and culture among the younger generation, Malayalam Mission classes will resume in Umargaon after a gap of two years under the auspices of the Kerala Association, in association with Malayalam Mission.

The initiative aims to help children of Malayalee families learn and preserve their mother tongue while strengthening their connection with Kerala’s rich linguistic and cultural heritage.

A meeting convened to discuss the programme was held under the chairmanship of Dr. R. K. Nair. It was decided that the classes would commence later this month with the active support of the Kerala Association’s Vanita Club and Youth Club, according to Malayalam Mission Coordinator Ajit Kartikeyan.

The initiative has received an encouraging response from parents, and the classes will be conducted with the support of dedicated volunteers and educators associated with the Kerala Association.
