Renowned cultural organiser and arts promoter Sri P. Balakrishnan (Balaji) will be honoured with the prestigious Chakyar Rajan Memorial Award at the Aatmalaya National Awards Ceremony, organised by Aatmalaya Academy of Art and Culture Trust in association with Nātyaśāstra Gurukulam.
The award will be presented during the “Nāma • Rūpa • Nāda • Bindu – Immersion Culmination Sabha” on Sunday, 12 July 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Lion Dr. Ashok Mehta Auditorium, Shanmukhananda Fine Arts & Sangeetha Sabha, Sion, Mumbai.
The event will also feature cultural performances and the presentation of the Aatmalaya National Award for Lifetime Achievement (posthumously) to Guru Vasant Kumar, celebrating excellence and dedication in the field of Indian arts and culture.
