Augustine John Martis, a respected member of the Malwani community and husband of the late Carmine Martis, passed away on 16 June 2026 at the age of 73. Born on 30 December 1952, he was a devoted family man whose warmth, kindness, and caring nature earned him the love and respect of relatives, friends, and all who knew him.
He is survived by his sons, Collin and Kevin Martis; daughters-in-law, Beneeta and Arlette Martis; grandchildren, Adelene, Keegan, and Anezka Martis; as well as his siblings and extended family members. He will be fondly remembered as a loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle.
The funeral service will be held on 23 June 2026 at 4:00 p.m. at St. Anthony’s Church, Malwani, followed by burial at Charkop Cemetery. Family, relatives, and friends may pay their last respects at the family residence in Greenland CHS Ltd., Malwani, from 2:00 p.m. onwards. Followed by Mass at 4pm at St. Anthony Church, Malwani and burial at Charkop Cemetery.
