The Bombay Keraleeya Samaj (BKS), Matunga, Mumbai will celebrate International Yoga Day on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at Kerala Bhavanam, Matunga, with a special programme highlighting the importance of yoga and holistic healthcare. The event will also mark the inauguration of the renovated Ayurveda Health Care Centre of the Samaj.
The programme will commence at 5.00 p.m. with talks and presentations on the benefits of yoga and its role in promoting physical, mental, and emotional well-being. This will be followed by a Yoga Practice Session at 5.30 p.m., where participants will have the opportunity to engage in guided yoga exercises.
A major highlight of the evening will be the formal inauguration of the renovated Ayurveda Health Care Centre at 6.00 p.m. The upgraded facility is expected to provide enhanced Ayurvedic healthcare services to members of the community and the general public.
