Mumbai: The newly renovated and modernised B.K.S. Ayurveda Therapy Centre, comprising a state-of-the-art Panchakarma Treatment Centre and Ayurveda Clinic under the auspices of Bombay Keraleeya Samajam, Matunga will be formally inaugurated this week with a series of spiritual and health-oriented programmes.
The celebrations will commence on Wednesday, June 17, with a Ganapathi Homam at 5.00 a.m., followed by Vastushanthi at 5.00 p.m. and Bhagavath Seva at 6.00 p.m.
The formal inauguration of the Ayurveda Centre will take place on Sunday, June 21, coinciding with the observance of International Yoga Day. The day’s programmes will begin with a Yoga demonstration by the students of the Samajam Yoga Centre at 5.00 p.m.
The inaugural function will be held at Navati Memorial Hall at 6.30 p.m. Prof. Vaidya Raman Ghungralekar, Director, AYUSH, Government of Maharashtra, will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest, while Dr. Vinayak Vittal Thayade (MD, PhD (Ayur)), Dhanvantari Ayurveda Upchar Kendra, Bandra, will attend as the Special Guest.
The event will also feature expert lectures highlighting the importance of Ayurveda in maintaining holistic health and well-being, as well as discussions on the significance and relevance of celebrating International Yoga Day in today’s fast-paced world.
Members of the community and the general public are invited to participate in the programmes and benefit from the insights shared by eminent experts in the fields of Ayurveda and Yoga.This inauguration marks another significant milestone in Bombay Keraleeya Samajam’s continued efforts to promote traditional healthcare systems and holistic wellness among the community.
