More than 120 institutions, including schools, colleges, workplace and community organisations, participated in the initiatives, bringing together several people from different walks of life to encourage people to become more aware in responding to medical emergencies like a heart attack. Over the course of the campaign, 61,221 people pledged to learn CPR, turning simple action into widespread community movement. The month long movement culminated with Guinness World records officially recognising Apollo Hospitals, Navi Mumbai as the record holder for most pledges to learn CPR in one month, this was revealed in the press conference held at St Regis Hotel in Parel on 28th September in the presence of Dr Preetha Reddy ,the Executive ViceChairperson, Apollo Hospital Enterprises Limited, actress karishma Kapoor and other dignitaries.
