A musical evening celebrating the evergreen compositions of S. D. Burman and R. D. Burman will be held in Mumbai on October 3. Titled ‘Romantic Burmans… SD & RD’, the programme is being presented by Rajeev Amrish Puri under Klub Nostalgia – Music for a Noble Cause.
The programme will feature a selection of foot-tapping and memorable songs associated with legendary singers including Mohammed Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle. The evening aims to bring back the nostalgia of classic Hindi film music through live performances.
Alok Katdare, Sarvesh Mishra, Sangeeta and Preethi will be the featured performers, with Ajay Madan handling the music. The programme will begin at 7 pm at the Veer Savarkar Auditorium, Shivaji Park, Dadar West.
