Smart TV Donated to Koknipada Municipal School No. 50 to Support Digital Learning

In a meaningful initiative to promote digital education, Hillgarden Ayyappa Bhakta Sangham (HGABS) handed over a brand new Smart TV along with a V-Guard stabilizer to Koknipada Municipal School No. 50, following a request from the school authorities. The facility will benefit around 125 students by enhancing digital learning opportunities.

The handing-over function was held on 27th February 2026 at 10.30 am, coinciding with Marathi Bhasha Divas, at the school premises.

Dr. Venugopal Menon and Mrs. Manju Menon graced the occasion and addressed the students, inspiring them with their encouraging words. Speaking on the occasion, School Headmistress Urmila R. Gawle and Senior Teacher Jagannath Jadhav expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Hillgarden Ayyappa Bhakta Sangham and its office bearers for their consistent support to the school over the past 15 years and for responding promptly to its needs.

The Headmistress also specially acknowledged HGABS volunteer Mrs. Sudha Nair for her dedicated voluntary service in teaching primary students, helping them improve their English and Mathematics skills.

On behalf of HGABS, Secretary Sashikumar Nair spoke about the significance of Marathi Bhasha Divas and highlighted the importance of preserving one’s mother tongue. He also thanked the well-wishers and sponsors for their generous and spontaneous support towards this noble cause.

A Class VI student, Shejal Dhebe, proposed the vote of thanks on behalf of the school. HGABS volunteers distributed sweets to all the students as part of the celebration.
