Sukumaran proudly presents the Sree Mudra National dance festival 2026, a celebration of India’s
rich and diverse classical and traditional dance heritage, the festival will be held for two days on
October 3 rd and 4 th October at Chavara auditorium in Ernakulam. The festival brings together some of
the most distinguished performers and awardees, showcasing the vibrant and beautiful tradition of
Bharata Natyam, Mohiniattam, Kathak, Kuchipudi and Thappetagullu from different regions of India.
Some of the leading performers of the festival are Padmashri Pratibha Prahlad, SNA awardee Dr
Kalakrishna, KSNA awardee Kavitha Krishnakumar group, Natyashri Yasmin Singh group, Natyashri
Geetanarayan, SNA awardee Dr Vasundaraswamy group, Janapada Samrat Sathyam group etc. The
festival is fine combination of established names and upcoming artists. The festival is chared by BR
Vikram Kumar, editor of Dance India magazine and the festival director is Chitra Sukumaran and the
festival co-ordinator is Vandana Nair.
