Mumbai is set to witness a unique artistic presentation that brings together literature, original English music and Indian classical dance in a new creative repertoire.
The programme, presented by Abhinayaa Institute of Research and Fine Arts, will be held on 21 August 2026 at 6:00 PM at the National Gallery of Modern Art, Colaba, Mumbai, opposite Jehangir Art Gallery. The performance will have a duration of approximately two and a half hours.
The production features lyrics and music by J. K. Roseline, with choreography by Guru Dr. Chitra Vishwanathan. The presentation aims to explore the expressive possibilities of Indian classical dance through an English-language repertoire, bringing literature and music together with traditional dance forms.
The evening promises an engaging blend of contemporary literary expression and the rich aesthetic traditions of Indian classical dance.
