Kalakshethram Founder Member Ariyampally Sreedharan Passes Away

With profound sorrow, Kalakshethram, Dombivli mourns the passing of its Founder Member and long-standing pillar, Sri. Ariyampally Sreedharan, who passed away at 2.15 a.m. today.

A retired official of the Chemical Technology Division, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Sri. Sreedharan was deeply associated with Kalakshethram and made significant contributions to its growth and development. His dedication to art and culture, along with his selfless service to the institution, earned him the respect and affection of the Kalakshethram family.

After his retirement from BARC, Sri. Sreedharan had been residing at Ankamali, Kerala.

His family also maintained a close association with Malayalam language and cultural activities. His wife Smt. Savithri Sreedharan had served as a Malayalam class teacher at TTFAC, contributing to the promotion of Malayalam language among the younger generation.

Sri. Sreedharan’s vision, commitment and affection for Kalakshethram will remain an enduring part of the institution’s history. His demise has left a deep void among the members, well-wishers and friends of Kalakshethram.

Members of the Kalakshethram family expressed their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for strength and courage to overcome the loss.

Kerala in Mumbai joins the Kalakshethram family and the bereaved family in mourning the passing of Sri. Ariyampally Sreedharan. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
