Online registration has commenced for the prestigious Chembai Sangeetholsavam 2026, organised by the Guruvayur Devaswom as part of the Guruvayur Ekadashi celebrations. The festival will be held from November 6 to 21 at the Chembai Sangeetha Mandapam, Guruvayur.
Hindus aged 10 years and above with a minimum of five years’ training in Carnatic music are eligible to apply. Applicants must list 10 kritis in the application, from which one composition selected by the Devaswom should be rendered within five minutes. Raga alapana, niraval and swarakalpana will not be permitted.
Entries are invited in Vocal (Individual and Group – maximum five members), String Instruments, Percussion Instruments, Keyboard and Harmonium categories.
Applications can be submitted online through the official Guruvayur Devaswom website guruvayurdevaswom.in. The last date for registration is August 15, 2026, at 5.00 p.m.
