After a gap of 32 years, legendary filmmaker Adoor Gopalakrishnan and megastar Mammootty are set to reunite for a new Malayalam film, the shooting of which begins today in Kochi. The yet-untitled project marks their much-awaited collaboration after Vidheyann and Mathilukal.
The film features a screenplay and dialogues by K.V. Mohan Kumar, with music composed by Mohan Kumar. Principal locations include Kochi, Pooyamkutty, Wayanad, and Thiruvananthapuram. Produced by Mammootty’s banner, this is the eighth film backed by the actor’s production company. Further details, including the title, are expected to be announced soon.
