Hillgarden Ayyappa Bhakta Sangham Celebrates New Year with Inmates of Old Age Home

Upholding its three decade long tradition of service and compassion, the Hillgarden Ayyappa Bhakta Sangham, Thane celebrated the New Year with the inmates of Param Shantidham Old Age Home, reaffirming its commitment to the upliftment of the destitute and the needy.

As part of its 30 years of sustained philanthropic activities, members of the Sangham visited the old age home and shared moments of joy and togetherness with the residents. The dining hall was beautifully decorated with colourful ornaments and balloons, creating a festive atmosphere. A New Year cake was cut in the presence of the inmates, marking the occasion with warmth and cheer.

The Sangham distributed essential items including Solapur blankets, pillow covers, towels, soap, detergent, toothbrushes, toothpaste, biscuits, and calendars. Members also shared a sumptuous meal with the inmates, making the celebration a memorable and emotionally enriching experience for all present.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Sashikumar Nair, Secretary of the Bhakta Sangham, stated that the organisation continues to receive requests for assistance from various quarters and strives to extend support to the maximum extent possible, guided by its values of service and compassion.

The New Year celebration once again reflected the Sangham’s unwavering dedication to social welfare and its belief in spreading joy and care among the most vulnerable sections of society.
