Kannur native Sajila Peralassery’s painting exhibition has begun at the Jahangir Art Gallery. The exhibition will run until December 21. Dr. Roy John Mathew, a prominent social activist and President of the World Malayali Federation Maharashtra Council, has inaugurated the exhibition.

Karthiayani Menon, Secretary of Jahangir Art Gallery, Surendra Babu, Priya Varghese and James Mana Lodi were the special guestson the occasion.

Sajila Peralassery, who has participated in many solo and group exhibitions and art camps in various parts of Kerala, Bengaluru and Chennai, is presenting her exhibition for the first time in Mumbai.

The exhibition, titled ‘Beyond Stillness’, features forty-eight paintings, both large and small.

Sajila, who holds degrees in history and painting, is an art teacher at Kuthubbiya English Medium School in Panoor, Kerala.
