Vasai: Pratheeksha Foundation is organising a special Diwali gathering for ASHA workers in Vasai taluka, in collaboration with the Chandramma Madhavan Nair Trust.
The programme is scheduled to be held at 10:00 AM at Vishwakarma Hall, Vasai Road West. ASHA workers, nurses and doctors from eight primary health centres across the taluka are expected to participate in the event.
The celebration will feature a variety of cultural and artistic performances presented by ASHA workers, adding colour and vibrancy to the occasion. MLAs Sneha Dubey Pandit and Rajan Naik will also attend the programme.
According to Pratheeksha Foundation Chairman K. B. Uttam Kumar, the event is part of the foundation’s ongoing welfare initiatives for ASHA workers, which have been carried out since the COVID-19 pandemic. The initiative aims to recognise their dedicated service and bring them together for a special Diwali celebration.
