As part of its annual celebrations, Pratheeksha Foundation, Vasai will organise a day-long Literary Workshop on Sunday, August 16, from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m., at BKS School, Vasai Road (West).
Renowned writer V. R. Sudheesh will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest. Eminent lyricist Vayalar Saratchandra Varma and author Dr. Sajith Evooreth will participate in the workshop, which will be presided over by C. P. Krishnakumar.
As part of the celebrations, Poetry and Short Story Writing Competitions will also be conducted. Short stories should be written on a single side of a page and should not exceed 15 pages. Entries should be sent on or before July 30 to Shop No. 1, Green Park, Shastri Nagar, Vasai (West) – 401202.
The first prize carries a cash award of ₹5,001 along with a certificate of appreciation, while the second prize carries ₹3,001 and a certificate.
The organising committees are coordinated by Rajendran Kuttur, A. M. Divakaran, E. Harindranath, Adv. Sheeja Mathew and Mini Thomas.
