The Malayali-led Malanad Educational and Welfare Association (MEWA) has once again made the Malayali community proud as its prestigious institution, Vidyaniketan English School, achieved excellent results in the Maharashtra SSC Examination 2026.
Continuing its legacy of academic excellence, the school recorded a cent percent result for the 20th consecutive year. All the 90 students who appeared for the examination passed successfully. The school secured 18 distinctions, 42 first classes and 24 second classes, reflecting the dedication and hard work of the students, teachers and management.
This year’s top rank holders are:
- Miss Chaudhary Hetvi Ambavi – 94.20%
- Miss Yadav Ankita Ashok – 89.80%
- Mr. Raul Devesh Satyavan – 88.60%
- Miss Gauri Mahin Muhammad Arif – 88.00%
Expressing happiness over the achievement, MEWA General Secretary Srikanth Nair stated that Team MEWA is proud that the institution has maintained 100 percent success continuously for the last 20 years.
The office bearers of MEWA are: Adv. P. R. Rajkumar – President, Adv. Raveendran Nair – Vice President, Srikanth Nair – General Secretary, Seena Manoj – Treasurer, Adv. Prema Menon – Chairperson and K. Muraleedharan – Joint Treasurer.
The Governing Body members include Adv. S. Balan, M. P. Varghese, P. D. Nambiar, T. M. Satheesh and Manikandan Nair.
Mrs. Sharmila Stephen is the Headmistress of the school.
