The Ahmedabad Kerala Samajam is set to organise its annual sports festival, with activities commencing from May 3rd.

The festival will witness enthusiastic participation from representatives of 13 wards across different regions. The inaugural phase will feature cricket matches scheduled on May 3rd, 10th and 17th at the Ahmedabad Education Society Ground.

A total of 12 teams are expected to compete in the cricket tournament, marking a vibrant start to the sporting calendar. The festival will continue in phases, with indoor games planned for September, followed by football, volleyball and basketball tournaments in October.

The concluding phase will include women’s cricket and swimming competitions, which are scheduled to be held in the first week of November.

The event is expected to bring together members of the Malayali community in Ahmedabad, promoting sportsmanship, unity and cultural bonding through a series of well-organised competitions.
