Sri Subramania Samaj, Thiruchembur Murugan Temple, Chedda Nagar, Chembur will celebrate Onam with a colourful cultural programme on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 7 p.m. onwards.
The programme will showcase a variety of traditional and classical performances, highlighting the rich cultural heritage and festive spirit of Kerala.
The evening will feature Kaikottikali by Smt. Savithri Rajan and group, followed by a Kaikottikali presentation by Shanmukha Arts Group. Students of Shanmukhapriya and Upaasana will present Bharatanatyam, while students of Upaasana will perform Mohiniyattam. Another Mohiniyattam presentation will be staged by Smt. Meghna Arun and group. The programme will also include a Bharatanatyam performance by students of Shanmukha Arts.
The celebrations are expected to bring together members of the community and well-wishers in a festive atmosphere, celebrating the traditions, culture and spirit of Onam.
