WMF Maharashtra Business Club Launched to Connect Malayali Entrepreneurs GloballyThe World Malayali Federation (WMF) Maharashtra Business Club has been launched with the objective of bringing Malayali entrepreneurs and business professionals together, strengthening global networking and creating new business and investment opportunities.The launch event, held in Navi Mumbai, was attended by several prominent office-bearers and business leaders from the WMF network. WMF Maharashtra State Council President Dr. Roy John Mathew welcomed the gathering.Dr. Sureshkumar Madhusudhanan, Chairman and Managing Director of Seagull International Group, was the chief guest. Addressing the gathering, he said that the WMF’s extensive global network, with a presence in 170 countries, should be effectively utilised to promote business growth and create new opportunities for Malayali entrepreneurs.WMF Global Chairman Dr. J. Ratnakumar, Asia Region President France Mundadan, and WMF Business Club International President Rejin Chalappuram were among those present.P. R.Dileep an economist with more than three decades of experience in investment and wealth management, and noted architect Suresh Babu attended the function as special guests.Dr. J. Ratnakumar said the WMF’s presence in 170 countries was not the achievement of any individual but the result of the collective efforts of its members across the world. He expressed the hope that the Business Club would develop into a global platform for exchanging business ideas and knowledge, besides facilitating investment, employment and business opportunities.Rejin Chalappuram explained the objectives, structure and functioning of the WMF Business Club.The newly appointed office-bearers of the WMF Maharashtra Business Club subsequently took the oath of office. The team comprises Varghese Philip as President, Savio Augustine as Vice President, Sivaram Madathil as Secretary, Biju Rajan as Joint Secretary, Renny Philipose as Treasurer and Divya Nair as Joint Treasurer.WMF Maharashtra Business Club Vice President Bijoy Oommen introduced the ‘WMF Coffee Book’ initiative at the event. The proposed publication will feature profiles of prominent business professionals and entrepreneurs in Mumbai, providing a platform to showcase their achievements, expertise and business interests.WMF Maharashtra State Council Patron Dr. Oommen David, WMF Asia Region President France Mundadan and WMF Secretary Dominic Paul also addressed the gathering. Dr. Oommen David shared his experiences of establishing and expanding a global organisation in Maharashtra and expressed satisfaction over the significant presence WMF has built in the state within a relatively short period.Business Club Mumbai Secretary Shivaram Madathil proposed the vote of thanks.The launch of the Maharashtra Business Club marks a significant step towards strengthening business networking among Malayali entrepreneurs and professionals and connecting them with opportunities across WMF’s extensive international network.
