Mulund Kerala Samajam (Regd.) will celebrate Onam 2026 with a colourful programme featuring a variety of cultural presentations, followed by a traditional Onasadya, on Sunday, September 20, from 10 a.m. onwards at Maharashtra Seva Sangh Hall, Jawaharlal Nehru Road, Mulund (West), Mumbai.
The celebrations will begin with the lighting of the traditional lamp, followed by a welcome address, prayer and Ganesh Stuti. Kavyalapanam and the presentation of educational awards will form part of the initial proceedings.
The cultural programme will also feature karaoke songs by Shiva Sankar Krishna, winner of Flowers Top Singer Season 5. The arrival of King Mahabali, a traditional highlight of Onam celebrations, will be followed by Kaikottikali and a ballet presentation of Shri Krishna Leela.
The programme will conclude with a vote of thanks, after which the participants will be served a traditional Onasadya.
The Samajam has invited members, families and well-wishers of the Malayali community to participate in the celebrations and join in the festivities celebrating Kerala’s rich cultural heritage and the spirit of Onam.
