I am free
and I am the world
As much as the world is in me!
I am freedom,
that knows not doors,
I seek no doorbells
for the bells chime within!
In myself is the tri- color,
none can violate
For I have a voice that can rise from silence —
A strength that can create waves!
Nullifying heaving shores of unrest,
I am peace!
That smiles even as a script mirrors progressive wheels
on staggering roads!
I am laughter
That escapes that eternal rapture, according death
in easy installments
I am contentment
gathering moments,
Breath to breath!
And life as a benediction.
Let me revel in the ‘now’
Escaping the televised turbulence
Of breaking news!
Let Me go past
gaps in the cup and the lip
if only to savour the nectar
within!
To bow down to an awareness
Of a Mother who knows me as her child
As I seek to light up her very eyes
Through my awareness of her
As my pulse,
Cemented by the
Tri-colored soil
As she leads me from
light to Light
With my heart beat
Echoing one refrain..
