The Maharashtra chapter of AIMA celebrated International Women’s Day with great enthusiasm at the Bombay Keraleeya Samithi Hall, Malad West, by honouring distinguished women achievers and organising an inspiring talk by an accomplished medical professional.
Five outstanding women were felicitated during the function in recognition of their professional achievements and contributions to society. The awardees included Smitha Nair (Commissioner of Income Tax), Adv. Prema Menon, Smt. Suma Mukundan, Adv. Rakhee Sunil, and SI Manisha Kalasgar of the Police Department.
This year, AIMA Maharashtra decided to specially honour some of its own members who have worked tirelessly for the organisation since its inception in the state.
The programme was attended by AIMA National Vice-President Upendra Menon who graced the occasion and addressed the gathering.
An informative and engaging talk delivered by Dr. Vidhu was well received and appreciated by the audience.
The organisers expressed gratitude to all committee members for their support in making the event a success. Special appreciation was extended to President T. A. Khalid, Treasurer Komalan, and the members of the Ladies Wing for their dedicated efforts and guidance.
The celebration concluded with a note of thanks to all supporters and well-wishers who contributed to the successful conduct of the Women’s Day programme.
