Continuing its commitment to social responsibility and compassionate outreach, Mulund Kerala Samajam once again stepped forward to support a family in distress.

This time, the Samajam extended timely assistance to Smt. Moly Panicker of Vaishali Nagar, Mulund, who has been facing severe financial hardship following the untimely demise of her husband.

Upon learning about the family’s difficult situation, the Samajam leadership responded without delay. As per the directions of President T. K. Rajendrababu and Treasurer Muralidharan, Managing Committee Members T. K. Balachandran and Sujatha Nair visited the residence of Moly Panicker to personally understand the family’s immediate needs.

In the presence of General Secretary B. K. K. Kannan and Oommen Michael, the team handed over essential provisions including rice and various spices sufficient for one month, as emergency relief support to the family.

Mulund Kerala Samajam has been consistently prioritising charitable and humanitarian initiatives as part of the roadmap charted by the new committee that assumed office last October. The Samajam’s renewed focus on community welfare activities reflects its deep-rooted commitment to standing by members of the Malayali community in Mumbai during times of need.

Kerala in Mumbai appreciates and acknowledges such meaningful initiatives that strengthen the spirit of solidarity within the community.
