Valsad (Gujarat): The Valsad Kerala Samajam celebrated its annual function in a colourful and well-attended programme recently. The event was inaugurated by noted environmental activist Dr. R. K. Nair, while Samajam President M. C. Vivekananda presided over the function.
Dean K. C. Kuryachan, General Secretary Vinod Kumar, Joint Secretary Rajendra Prasad, Treasurer Raju Thilakan and Joint Treasurer Vasanthan addressed the gathering. The programme also featured a variety of cultural performances.
On the occasion, Amrita Nair, who recently obtained her PhD in English Literature, and students who achieved excellent academic results were felicitated. The function concluded on a celebratory note, reflecting the vibrant community spirit of the Samajam.
