In a significant political development, senior representatives from the Kerala community formally joined Shiv Sena at a programme held in Thane yesterday.
KNSS General Secretary Mr. Chembur Balakrishnan Nair, noted Sakinaka based social activist and businessman Mr. Sreekumar Nair, and Thane-based senior advocate Adv. Vijayathilakan were inducted into the party in the presence of Prakash Shinde,Thane Municipal Corporation member and the younger brother of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and Shiv Sena chief leader Eknath Shinde.
The induction ceremony was organised at Thane and witnessed the participation of several prominent party functionaries. Shiv Sena Dakshin Bharat Cell State Coordinator Jayant Nair, Shiv Sena Kerala Cell Maharashtra State President Shrikanth Nair, along with other office bearers and workers, were present on the occasion.
Welcoming the new entrants, party leaders expressed confidence that their long-standing social commitment, professional experience, and deep connect with the Malayali community in Mumbai and the Mumbai Metropolitan Region would further strengthen Shiv Sena’s outreach and organisational presence. The event marked another step in reinforcing the party’s growing engagement with the Kerala community in Maharashtra, in line with Shiv Sena’s inclusive and grassroots-oriented vision.
