Thane Hill Garden Ayyappa Bhakta Sangam Marks 30th Mandala Puja with Devotion and Service

The Thane Hill Garden Ayyappa Bhakta Sangam (HGABS) celebrated its 30th Mandala Puja on Saturday, 6 December, with a large and devout gathering of Ayyappa devotees. In keeping with its commitment to social responsibility, the Sangam organized a simple and traditional puja focused solely on rituals, continuing the approach followed last year.

The day’s proceedings began at 6:00 AM with a Ganapati Homam performed by Girish Namboothiri, setting a spiritually uplifting tone. This was followed by Devi Puja and a soulful bhajan session led by Sreekumar Mavelikkara and team at 9:30 AM. The Mandala celebrations were further enriched by the traditional Padipattu rendered by Guruswamy Mavelikkara Radhakrishnan Swamy.

The rituals concluded with Deepa Aradhana and Prasad distribution at 11:30 AM.

During the event, the Sangam honoured Airoli Guruswamy Mavelikkara Radhakrishnan, Vartak Nagar Guruswamy Radhakrishnan, the Nadarchana Bhajan Group, and Sreekumar Mavelikkara for their spiritual contributions. HGABS reaffirmed its continued commitment to expanding charitable activities in the coming years.
