A unique musical and poetic evening based on the works of poet J. K. Roseline was held on 1st November 2025 at Nritya Shakti Studio, Goregaon (West). Conceptualised by Roseline and choreographed by Guru Vijay Shanker, the programme featured a vibrant blend of Indian classical dance, contemporary music, visuals, and English poetry.
Highlights included the patriotic piece “I Love My Land, I Call It India, Bharat…” performed beautifully by Kathak artist Jill Gaglani, and the powerful lyrical dance “My Hallelujah” by Akash Goswami, supported by choir master Quinton’s soulful vocals.
Children performed thematic poems on compassion and kindness, while Guru Vijay Shanker and his team presented expressive action songs inspired by nature, patriotism, and human values.
The event concluded with a presentation of Roseline’s diverse poetic works, reaffirming the magic of live theatre and the enduring beauty of poetry brought to the stage.
