





The Malayala Bhasha Pracharana Sangam, Mumbai, has announced the results of the all-Maharashtra literary competitions held as part of its annual cultural initiatives aimed at promoting Malayalam language and literature.In the poetry section the
first Prize goes to Rajan Kinatinkara for “Mine and Yours” and second Prize to Raghu Balakrishnan for his creation “One”. In the Short Story segment Meghanathan won the
first Prize for “Didi” and
Second Prize goes to Ranjith Raghupathi for “Adam”. Essay segment
Topic: “Democratic India – Fear and Hope” winners are
Mohanan K.V. (First Prize),
Suresh Kumar T (Second Prize).
Panel of Judges included
Dr. P. Harikumar, Sebastian, Bakar Methala (Poetry),
Jacob Abraham, Socrates K. Walath, Valsan Anjampeetika (Short Story) andDr. A.P. Jayaraman, M.G. Arun, G. Viswanathan (Essay).
The Sangam has announced that all winners will be honored with prizes and trophies during the closing ceremony of the 14th Malayalam Festival.
