As part of the preparations for the upcoming Vasai Hindu Mahasammelan, scheduled to be held on January 3rd in Vasai, a 101-member Welcoming Committee has been officially formed.
At the organisational meeting held at the office of the Vasai Road Nair Welfare Association Prabha P. Nair was elected as the Patron and President of the Welcoming Committee.
Narayanankutty has been appointed as the General Convener. The Women’s Section Conveners selected for the event are,Sreekumari Mohan,
Seetha Hari warrier, Latha Mohan, Suma Poduwal
Padma Divakara kurup.
The meeting was presided over by K.B. Uttamkumar, President of the Sanatana Dharma Sabha, who reviewed the arrangements and offered guidance for the upcoming programme.
The Vasai Hindu Mahasammelan will be hosted at the Sri Sabarigiri Ayyappa Temple Auditorium, Vasai West, and is expected to draw wide participation from the community.
Former Central Nair Samiti President K.G.K. Kurup also took part in the discussions.
