Borivali Malayali Samajam emerged as the overall champions at the 14th Malayalotsavam (Western Region) organised by Malayala Basha Pracharana Sangham. The cultural festival, held on November 30 at Mumbai Public School, Rani Sati Marg, Malad East, featured 21 competitions conducted across three stages, drawing participants from Bandra to Dahisar.
With more than 200 contestants showcasing their talents in Malayalam language, culture, and traditional art forms, the event saw enthusiastic participation across all age groups. Drawing competitions were held earlier on November 23.
Borivali Malayali Samajam delivered an exceptional performance, securing 16 prizes in solo categories and 5 prizes in group events, ultimately claiming the Western Region Championship. Sahar Malayali Samajam finished as runners-up.
