Muthappan Vellattam to Be Held in Malad on January 4

The Malad Muthappan Seva Samithi will organize the annual Muthappan Vellatta Mahotsavam on Sunday, January 4, at Swaagat Park, located on Linking Road, Malad West.

The day-long rituals will commence with Mahagana pathi homam at 5 a.m., followed by Malayirakkal Karma at 11 a.m. The traditional Oottuprasadam ceremony will take place thereafter. Muthappan vellaattam and darshan is scheduled to be held from 2 pm onwards.

Ahead of the festival, the annual meeting of the committee will be held on Sunday evening, December 7, at Sumatinath Estate, Malad West.
