The Malayalee Chamber of Commerce & Industry convened a Business Family Meeting at Nimanthran Hotel, Sector 15, C B D Belapur, Navi Mumbai. The meeting was attended by senior members Mohan Kandathil, Bala Subramanian, G. Komalan, T. A. Khalid, Upendra Menon, Adv. Prema Menon and K. T. Nair.
The session discussed various initiatives aimed at strengthening the Malayalee business community in Mumbai and supporting entrepreneurs across sectors. In the meeting it was decided to
facilitate collaboration between Malayalee entrepreneurs, investors, suppliers, and business partners, organise training programmes on digital marketing, export management, and modern business practices,
conduct B2B meetings to create business networking opportunities, along with platforms for job seekers,
launch youth development initiatives, including self-employment training programmes, hold personality development workshops covering communication skills, leadership, and professional grooming, promote art and culture, including Malayalam literature, drama, cinema, and language activities, provide representation and support for members in industrial and legal matters before government departments, trade bodies, and regulatory agencies.
The Chamber will also pursue policy reforms beneficial to Malayalee industrialists.
In order to implement these decisions effectively, responsibilities were assigned to the committee comprising Bala Subramanian, Mohan Kandathil, V. K. Muraleedharan, G. Komalan, Babu George,
Sunny George, T. A. Khalid, Adv. Prema Menon, and Upendra Menon.
To further discuss and finalise these initiatives, a Business Meeting will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Hotel Shikara Highway View, Navi Mumbai.
