The literary wing of the Nerul New Bombay Keraleeya Samajam will organize Vayalar Smriti on Saturday, November 29, at 6 p.m., as part of the cultural evening Akshara Sandhya. The event is being held in memory of the legendary Malayalam poet and lyricist Vayalar Ramavarma, whose works continue to inspire generations.
The program will feature a memorial lecture reflecting on the life and contributions of noted lyricist Vayalar by renowned journalist and cultural activist P. R. Sanjay. The keynote address will be delivered by M. G. Arun, Managing Editor of India Today.
The evening will be enriched with renditions of Vayalar’s evergreen songs, visual presentations, and performances of popular film songs, offering a nostalgic cultural experience for the audience.
