Mandira Samiti Hosts ‘Knowing the Guru’ Study Class

The Sree Narayana Mandira Samiti’s Women’s and Cultural Sections in Mumbai recently organized a question-and-answer competition along with a speech competition as part of the ‘Knowing the Guru’ study class focused on the history of Sree Narayana Guru.

These events marked the completion of the zone-level competitions. In the question-and-answer competition, which involved participants from various units in the Chembur zone, the Central Mumbai (Kalina) unit secured the first place, followed closely by the Chembur unit in second place.

In the question-and-answer competition involving units from the Thane zone, the Kalwa unit emerged as the winner, while the Srinagar and Vartak Nagar units shared the second position. In the elocution category, the Kalwa and Vartak Nagar units both achieved second place, with the Bhiwandi unit taking first place.

The finals for the speech competition are scheduled to be held on Saturday, and the quiz competition final will take place on the 22nd. This event will be hosted at the committee’s Chembur complex, as announced by Suma Prakash, Vice President of the Women’s Wing Central Committee, and Secretary Vijaya Raghunath.
