Aatmalaya Academy of Art and Culture Trust, in association with Nāṭyaśāstra Gurukulam, will present “Nāma • Rūpa • Nāda • Bindu – Immersion Culmination Sabhā”, a grand celebration marking the culmination of the 2026 Immersion Programme.
The event, themed “A Journey Through Form, Meaning, Sound and Conscious Presence,” will showcase a series of cultural performances followed by the Annual Awards Ceremony, celebrating excellence and contributions to the field of Indian art and culture.
The programme will be held on Sunday, 12 July 2026, from 10.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m., at the Lion Dr. Ashok Mehta Auditorium, Shanmukhananda Fine Arts & Sangeetha Sabha, Sion, Mumbai – 400022. Guests are requested to be seated by 9.50 a.m., as the proceedings will commence promptly at 10.00 a.m.
Honouring Excellence
As part of the celebrations, the Aatmalaya National Award for Lifetime Achievement will be conferred posthumously in honour of the distinguished life and artistic legacy of Guru Vasant Kumar of Sri Raja Rajeshwari Bharatanatya Kalamandir, Mumbai.
The Chakyar Rajan Memorial Award will be presented to Sri P. Balakrishnan (Balaji), Mumbai, in recognition of his outstanding contributions.
