Odissi exponent Dr Dipti Routray and Biswanath Sangeetalay have organised the classical dance festival Lasya Labanya on Friday 10th July at the Chaubara theatre, Aram Nagar in Andheri west. Dr Dipti Routray and her talented team of Odissi dancers will entertain the audience with the lyrical and sublime quality of the Odissi dance. The festival is supported by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.
The guest performers of the festival are the talented disciple of veteran danseuse Pandita Gitanjali Lal – Avenav Mukherjee, Disciples of renowned Kathak danseuse and SNA awardee, Pandita Uma Dogra – Sarita Kalele and Karthika Unnikrishnan. Bharata Natyam by the disciples of Guru Vaibhav Arekar – Eesha Pinglay and Swarada Bhave. The entrance is free,hence all art lovers are welcome in the evening at 6.30pm
Dr Dipti Routray is renowned Odissi exponent,mentor and festival organiser, she has performed in some of the most prestigious festivals around the globe and is quite excited about her performance in Mumbai city.
