As part of the centenary celebrations of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), the Malayali wing of Bharat Bharati organized a grand Family Reunion and inaugurated the Balagokulam classes for the new academic year at the Vasudev Balwant Phatke Vidyalaya Auditorium, Sector 6, New Panvel, on Sunday, June 28.


The day-long programme commenced with the inauguration of the Balagokulam classes at 9.30 a.m. by Arun Mohan, State Vice President of ABVP and Senator of Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. The session featured value-based classes conducted by Balagokulam volunteers from Mumbai, along with a variety of cultural performances by Balagokulam members from Navi Mumbai.

The morning programme was coordinated by Harish Nair, G. Vijayakumar, Geetha Nambiar, Ajitha Unnikrishnan, Divya Manikandan, Mini Pradeep, and Sajeesh Soman.
The Bharat Bharati Family Reunion, held in the evening at 5.30 p.m., witnessed the participation of hundreds of families from Panvel Taluk. The cultural gathering was inaugurated by Sampujya Swami Avyayamritanandapuri of the Mata Amritanandamayi Math, Nerul, under the chairmanship of A. R. Gokul Das, Bharat Bharati Pramukh.


Delivering the keynote address, Arun Mohan highlighted the importance of preserving Indian culture, values, and traditions among the younger generation. Greetings were offered by Srirangji Kane, RSS Colaba District Karyawah, Dr. Geetha Nambiar, Rajesh Menon, and G. Vijayakumar, while P. M. Sreejith Kumar proposed the vote of thanks.

The event also featured vibrant dance and musical performances by children, making it a memorable family gathering. The cultural programmes were compered by Smt. Sunita Rajesh Menon, M. Ramachandran, and others.
As part of the celebrations, representatives of various spiritual and community organizations from Panvel Taluk, distinguished guests, and dance teachers were felicitated with books in recognition of their valuable contributions to society.
