In this edition of Mumbayile Malayali Prathibhakal, we are privileged to feature Kalamandalam Gopalakrishnan, one of the most respected and popular exponents of Mohiniyattam and Kathakali. Over the years, he has nurtured and trained numerous disciples in Mumbai and across different parts of India, making an invaluable contribution to the promotion and preservation of Kerala’s classical performing arts beyond the state’s borders. He has recently relocated to Kerala after a long and distinguished association with Mumbai’s cultural landscape.
