Music lovers in Mumbai are in for a nostalgic evening as Padmavati Entertainment, in association with Shekhar Daate’s Archana Theater, presents “Baithak – Songs… Stories… Gane… Kuch Kahaniyan” (Series 2), a unique musical biopic celebrating the timeless legacy of legendary lyricist Anand Bakshi.
Titled “Classics of Anand Bakshi… A Biopic,” the programme will take audiences on a memorable journey through some of Bakshi’s most iconic songs, interwoven with fascinating stories from his life and illustrious career in Hindi cinema.
The event will be held on 30 June 2026 at 8.00 p.m. at Vishnudas Bhave Natyagruha, Vashi.
The evening will feature celebrated singer Vilas Mahadik, with Vinayak Shinde as the anchor. Lead singers Rupesh, Prithviraj, Anahita, and Janhavi Rao will bring Anand Bakshi’s immortal melodies to life, while guest singers Amar Ram Madhu and Monika Bharadwaj add their special touch to the performance. Young talent Devashree Bhangale will be the special attraction of the programme.
