The much-awaited cricket tournament organized by the Mumbai Council of the World Malayalee Federation commenced with great enthusiasm on Saturday, April 18th, at Dombivli. The opening ceremony witnessed an impressive gathering of dignitaries, participants, and others.
The tournament was formally inaugurated by MLA Rajesh More, representing Shiv Sena, in the presence of prominent members of the Federation’s core committee including Dr.Oommen David and Dr.Roy John Mathew. The inaugural function was marked by a vibrant and celebratory atmosphere, reflecting the strong community spirit and unity among Malayalees in Mumbai.

Addressing the gathering, the chief guest appreciated the efforts of the organizers in bringing together the community through sports and promoting camaraderie among participants. He highlighted the importance of such initiatives in strengthening social bonds and encouraging healthy recreation.
