The Vishu celebration of the 1977 batch alumni of Ardasa Vidyalaya, Shell Colony, Chembur was held in a joyous and nostalgic atmosphere, bringing together former classmates after decades.

The gathering was thoughtfully organized at short notice by Sasikumar Nair and K.G. Suresh, fulfilling the wish of NRI Sasidharan to reconnect with his classmates. Their sincere efforts made the reunion possible and memorable.

Nalini expressed immense happiness at meeting her classmates after 49 years, with special thanks extended to Usha for her support in making this long-cherished wish a reality. The occasion also fondly remembered friends who could not attend. Notably, 15 members participated despite the busy Vishu schedule.

The event was marked by vibrant moments, including participants arriving in traditional attire, adding cultural charm to the celebration. Senior members Sudha, Raji, Molly, Hariharan, and Ramaswamy were honoured with tokens of appreciation.

The gathering concluded with a sumptuous meal, making the reunion even more delightful. Mementos were distributed to all participants by K.G. Suresh, while Sasikumar Nair shared Vishu kaineettam, enhancing the festive spirit.

The alumni expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the event and looked forward to many more such reunions in the future.
