The Malayalam Mission Entrance Festival on August 11 will forego celebrations due to the Wayanad tragedy. Instead, it will launch a fundraiser with the slogan “With Wayanad, With the Survivors,” encouraging students, parents, teachers, and activists to donate $1 (80 rupees) each. Donations will be collected by sector volunteers and sent to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund on August 29 as part of their effort to aid tragedy survivors.
