Mumbai, September 27, 2026: Raagalaya and Kerala in Mumbai jointly organised Ponnona Tharangini, a special musical programme that provided a platform for aspiring singers in Mumbai to showcase their talent with a live orchestra.
The programme offered a unique opportunity for several singers, who usually perform at karaoke sessions, to experience singing with a live orchestra on stage for the first time. The initiative reflects Raagalaya’s continued commitment to encouraging emerging talent and providing opportunities for passionate singers to perform before an audience.
The event also featured a beautiful classical Mohiniyattam dance performance by Sai Lakshmi, adding traditional elegance to the celebrations.
As part of the programme, all participating singers were felicitated with trophies in recognition of their participation. The orchestra team was also honoured for its valuable contribution to the successful conduct of the event. Members of the orchestra team shared their thoughts and experiences about the performances and the participants’ enthusiasm.
Through such initiatives, Raagalaya continues to encourage aspiring singers by giving them opportunities to gain stage experience and perform alongside musicians.
Singers who wish to experience performing with a live orchestra can contact Raagalaya at 9820110509 for further details.
