Sree Kumar G. Nair, a prominent social worker and community activist, has been appointed Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) South Indian Cell, Mumbai.
The appointment was formally conferred by Murugan R. Selvan, President of the BJP South Indian Cell, Mumbai, in recognition of Sree Kumar’s commitment, dedication and willingness to serve the organisation and society. The appointment certificate was presented to him by Amit Satam, MLA and President of the Mumbai BJP, at an event held at the office of the BJP Mumbai unit.
According to the certificate of appointment, Sree Kumar will be responsible for contributing towards strengthening the activities of the BJP South Indian Cell and furthering its organisational objectives. The appointment certificate was issued on August 5, 2026, in Mumbai.
Sree Kumar G. Nair is actively involved in various social and community organisations. He is a Managing Committee Member of the Kendriya Nair Sanghatana, Vice-President of the Ayyappa Seva Sangham, 90 Feet Road, Sakinaka, and General Secretary of the Ayyappa Seva Samaj, Kurla Division.
In recognition of his social and community service, he has received the International Excellency Award 2025 in Dubai and the Vijayasmitham 2025 Award instituted by the Kottarakkara Kaniv Health and Social Welfare Society.
Apart from his social activities, Sree Kumar runs an electrical contracting firm in Mumbai. He resides in Ghatkopar and hails from Kizhakkekulakkada in Kottarakara, Kerala.
